Center for Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Insurgency is a bespoke research unit of International Institute for Global Strategic Analysis (IIGSA). CCTCI conducts research on the changing dynamics of terrorism in South Asia, Middle East and around the globe. The Center focuses on the underlying causes of terrorism, insurgency and militancy to identify the ever-changing nature of threats and their repercussion for international peace and security. CCTCI primarily focuses on terrorism and insurgency in and around Afghanistan and Pakistan. CCTCI aims to provide policy-makers with evidence-based research to develop counter-terrorism, conflict resolution and peace-building policies.
